Do the Browns have a legitimate shot at the playoffs?

They just beat the Broncos at Mile High. If they beat Cincy and Baltimore, they can finish 8-7-1. They just need Baltimore to lose to either the Chargers or Bucs in the next 2 weeks, a fair proposition, and need the Stealers to lose out. Sounds ridiculous, I know, but the Stealers host the Cheatriots tomorrow and then go to New Orleans to face the Saints. I think their biggest obstacle is hoping the Bengals can beat the Stealers in Pissburgh in week 17. Thoughts? I'm rooting for the Brownies.

It would be sweet if they could somehow “steal” that division. No matter what happens this year, it’s quite a turnaround for them. They actually look like a NFL team. Good for them and their long suffering fans.

How would they need the Stealers to lose out? Would they have to win that division outright to make the playoffs? Seems like they're a long-shot for the wild card at this point, but would need a few other teams to lose a game or two.

Winning the division is their cleanest path. They only have to worry about Pissburgh and Baltimore. At wild card, they have to contend with those 2 plus Miami, Tennessee, and Indianapolis for one spot as the Chargers or Chiefs will get the other.

If a doctor told you your probability of living past today were the same as the probability the Browns make the playoffs, with everything that has to happen, you'd perceive your death as a certainty.

Browns should have fired Hue before he was hired.
