NFL Considering Changing Season Opener Pattern

I don't think I like this. It's easy to side with the NFL since it is the Patriots who won the Super Bowl, but if the Seahawks or any other team had won, I think this would suck.

I would agree. But this is the NFL’s 100th season as Bears-Packers is the longest running rivalry.

As Seahawk fans we are used to getting stiffed. Hard not to feel a little schadenfreude when a team like the Pats gets 'disrespected.' :twisted:

But yeah, as a Centennial celebration, Packers/Bears sounds legitimate.

Also in this case, if they made the Hawks the first and only Sunday night game that would be a pretty good compromise. Carroll's hawks just get it done on Sunday night.
