They are going to be in cap hell again real soon. They are going to have to overpay EE and hope he can control himself off the field (good luck with that). They are going to have to overpay their mediocre QB, and they are going to have to overpay Cooper plus other lesser players. Their Super Bowl window is starting to close.

I think Dak is a good QB. But not better than good. They never really had a Super Bowl window.

I was being extremely generous when I used that term (Super Bowl window) in my post.
I was questioning myself when I used that term. They will be up against the cap with all of those big contracts up coming.

Love it when people get paid on the Cowboys..Jeruh thinks it's still
the early 90's ..Have enough superstars and it's SB time.
Salary cap and holes be damned!

Sounds like they are going to make him the highest paid RB..
A great OL that holds sure made him money..
They have paid multiple players in the last 2 years..
How can they pay Dak and Coop?If that gremlin EE
gets paid?

A guy with tons of athletic ability but not much between the ears. He’d Rather party than play football.
He’s Johnny Manziel with a RB’s body. He’ll be broke 2 years after he’s retired.

JJ seemed to indicate having a league leading rusher isn't that important. Probably mostly posturing, but I don't think he is wrong. And I don't think leaving the country is helping Zeke's case.

$20 million lawsuit alleges Dallas Cowboys 'cover-up' in Ezekiel Elliott car crash

LOL, hadn’t seen that. Trouble just keeps finding this poor guy. :sarcasm_off:

I said for years I think the local authorities work with Jerry Jones to keep some of his players crimes swept under the rug.
Zeke punched out a DJ a couple of years ago and suddenly the guy punched had no memory of it happening (see paid off).

Then there was Dez Bryant smacking around his girlfriend in a wal-mart parking lot which was caught on tape. When the cops came to pick up the tape “it had suddenly vanished”.

I’m sure many of Michael Irvin’s shenanigans were covered up as well.

I’m an avid cowboys hater. Any bad news for them is good news IMHO. 8)

I will always have some love for Zeke because of his 2014 college postseason where his team bounced Alabubba and defeated the Ducks. As a Cowgirl, I just hope he holds-out and winds-up on a more respectable team soon enough.
