Saw an alert pop up on my phone, but when I clicked through, nada. Anyone see/hear anything?

Just saw it on the ESPN bottom line and now it's at the top of the app. Wow.

So glad we didn’t “suck for Luck”!

If he had played behind Cables oline here, he would have been done years ago

I’m not totally surprised by this. It’s proably the right move, as his body seems to be broken down.

Some will still say he had a better career than Russell Wilson.

I hope he gets healthy and decides to come back. There's an obvious reason for a lot of us fans to somewhat dislike him due to the comparisons between him and Russ, but those aren't his fault. I think he's a good player and a good person. I really want a Colts/Seahawks Super Bowl someday with Russ and Luck going head to head. Would be great.

Here's a completely baseless hot take, you heard it here first. His dad is running the XFL. This is probably just a plot to get him playing in that league.

He's gonna make the announcement after spearing Goldberg at WrestleMania

Luck and RGIII were the cream of the crop in 2012, hell, you can throw in Tannehill and Weeden too. But end of the day Wilson is the highest paid player in the NFL for a reason, well done Seahawks!

Historic. He is walking away from more money than anyone can possibly imagine. Wow.

Did we make the right choice choosing Wilson? I'm still not sure

I wish him the best. He has always seemed like a guy who didn’t necessarily need football. He’s highly intelligent and educated, varied interests and spent time abroad growing up.

The shoulder injury from snowboarding, this lower leg issue, he’s probably starting to think “ for who? For what? “
If he can walk away with his brain intact and rich as heck, then kudos to him.

Both turned out to be injury busts. Colts season is over. Probably try to finish as bad as they can to get a shot at one of the two bext big deal qbs available next year.

Very surprising news. Had he been able to stay healthy he would have had a pretty good career.
