Dolphin players have stated they would revolt if this trade was done..so now instead of finishing a strong 2-14 they likely finish 1-15.

This makes me think that there is a lot of truth to the rumor that the reason Clowney is not in Miami is because he put the kibosh on the trade.

Not a rumor. Clowney hadn't signed his tender, which meant he wasn't under contract for Houston to trade unless he agreed to the deal. It was, effectively, a no trade clause, per se.
