Is age finally catching up to Drew Brees?

In 3 of his final 4 games last year, Brees yards per attempt was under 6. Last Sunday against the Falcons it was 6.38, but he completed 71% of his passes. As I was watching the game, I couldn't help but notice he had no zip on his throws and he didn't take any deep shots. And considering the score, he certainly needed to take some shots downfield. Anyone else notice the same thing? I'm wondering if he's losing arm strength to the point where its going to seriously hinder the Saints offense.

How old is Brees now?Father time is undefeated..
I have seen some of the greatest ever and they all left
before Brees age now.
It's why I say RW will never make it to 40 and he takes
a lot more hits than Brees ever has.

Why couldn't it be Shady Brady?
HGH is a hell of a drug.
HGH is what a bunch of NFL players take. Brady's secret to youth is drinking the blood from enemy fans' children.

...which is why there are fewer families advocating football for their kids. It is a Brady Bunch thing. And Marsha started it all with her nose.

And he is not sorry......

If Brees lays another egg or two like against ATL, the team will sit him.

The team's been preparing for this for a while now. Bridgewater makes $7.25M--more than any other backup. (By comparison, Hawks are paying Geno about $800K.)

I think they brought him back too early. He will win them games but he needs to heal that thumb correctly. A brace is no help for touch which is what qbs live on. Great post lady.

The league still believes Bridgewater is starting material. No one believes that about Geno. His only claim to fame is that he's a better QB than 2013 classmate EJ Manuel. And he has a glass jaw.

If he tore a ligament in his thumb he may have flexibility but no way the strength he did before at least not yet, since his grip and ability to drive a ball also comes from how you grip and the thumb being so important it may be next year, he is functional now, but not right yet.

He looked fine vs AZ.

NO and ATL are division rivals, always play each other tough.
