I think it's safe to say the Patriots have been the best team sine their run started. Not even close. But over that period of time (what, 15 years?), who is the second best team?

I think a case could be made for Seattle. That span covers Holmgren and the Super Bowl, a bit of a down period between Holmgren and Pete, then two Super Bowls with Pete and a run of playoff appearances that is pretty impressive.

Who else might rank? The other other team I can really think of would be Baltimore. Pittsburgh maybe. Nobody from the NFC East or NFC South would seem to make the cut. Maybe the Packers but I don't think they've really hit that elite level but once.

Others In the AFC . . . Denver? Certainly nobody else from the AFC East or AFC North. AFC South? Not even close (even if the Colts did have Peyton and Luck).

Probably Pittsburgh because they won two Superbowls and have not had a losing record.

Saints have 9 seasons of .500 or worse since 2000. I don't think they make the cut.
