In overtime, Winston ends his season and his rookie contract with a pick 6 to become the first player to ever throw 30 TDs and 30 INTs in the same season.

Also his first pass of his career was a pick 6. His rookie contract started and ended with a pick 6.

Poetic ending to his season.

But hey, Jameis said after the game if he can eliminate the turnovers, he can be the best. That's promising.

Arians loves Jameis for some reason. Even went and threw his receivers under the bus earlier this season saying every pick he threw was the receivers fault. Which is of course ridiculous.

Also they don't have a high draft pick, so you're likely looking at a free agent QB if they don't re-sign Jameis. Maybe Can Newton? Eli? Foles? Fitzmagic again?

Gruden doesn't like Derek Carr. I'm predicting right now he trades him to Arians. Different conference as well.

Vinny T would also be the greatest of all time under those parameters.

My post was sarcasm.

Of course it was, as was the response. Also this one:

I think it would be Jeff George under these parameters, not Vinny T.

Don't blame James Winston for throwing 30 picks in one season. That is all on Jameis Winston, not James. He is a cool dude that sells insurance in Tampa.

30 interceptions is incredible. Incredibly bad that is. That's like 2 interceptions a game across the whole season. You can't win like that. LOL.

Can't tell which is worse. The fact that he accomplished this or the fact that his coach played him enough to accomplish it.

Wonder what Arians is going to do at QB next year. Highly doubt it's Jameis.
Time to go get Kaepernick. :stirthepot:

Although actually he’d give you the exact opposite problem as Winston: too afraid to pull the trigger.

It's amazing they kept playing him with that many interceptions. Wow.

They still haven't moved on from Winston. They should, but they aren't in optimal draft position.

I doubt Gruden moves Carr this year though. The Raiders could get at best Justin Herbert in the draft with Carr as the bridge.

Keep in mind it's Vegas next season and Carr is about as anti-Vegas glamour as you can get. So is Herbert for that matter.

Carr might be the only player not suspended for gambling at this time next year.

FFS, their stadium is right on the strip, and the league is telling them like all players that they can't even be in a casino.

Are you sure NFL players aren't allowed in a casino? I thought it was only that they are not allowed to bet on NFL games.
I flew into LV in early October and flew right over it. Looks like it's gonna be a beauty.

I may have been mistaken, policy here:

So as long as people don't gamble on sports (not just football), I guess it's cool.
