Have not watched it yet, but those who do should get a better picture of how influential Al Davis was if they do it accurately as well as Lamar Hunt.

Imo, we owe the development of the high-scoring offenses we have today to the AFL. I've been watching the NFL for over 60 years (I started when I was 10 or so) and there was a world of difference between the offensive play-calling between the AFL and the NFL teams. NFL teams were typical of Woody Hayes Buckeyes... three yards and a cloud of dust while AFL teams aired out the passing game.
