He hasn't been cut. He was just declined a 5th year option as many players have so far. He still is on the Bengals roster for 2020.

Sure, they can do that if they want and if he agrees, but he'll be eligible for FA at the end of 2020.

I’ve never really paid attention before but the pay on those 5th year options is pretty ridiculous. I’d decline most of them too.
