Mike Patterson, DT - Free Agent

Mike Patterson was released by the Eagles along with Cullen Jenkins. He's a DT and has had some health issues. Has his health gotten better? Would he be someone who could help along the defensive line? I bring him up because I believe was at USC under Carroll so there is somewhat of a connection there. Don't know too much about him or if he would be a good fit for the team. He was a former 1st round pick.

I don't know if they would be interested in Mike, but I do remember when he and Shaun Cody were going to the draft that everyone was talking up Cody. The reason I remember this was that when PC was asked who he most was going to miss that year on defense, he stated it would be Patterson.

Just an interesting note. If he is now completely healthy and the price was right, I could see some interest on PC's part.
