Jason Worilds is a possible under the radar FA for the Seahawks. Seattle likes the rotation of pass rushers and Worilds could take Schofield's role if nothing happends with Clemons.
Worilds took four years to really make some noise for himself with the steelers. So Worilds might see what happend in Seattle with Michael Bennett bringing up his stock and becoming more of a house hold name than he ever was before coming to Seattle. Seattle secondary and home field advantage allow pass rushers the ability to put up numbers like no where else in the NFL.
He's basically a 26 year old pass rush specialist but if he comes to Seattle and puts together a great year on a Championship team. I could see Worilds getting a contract better than Paul Kruger when he did the same thing with the Ravens. Seattle could get creative with Worilds use him as the LEO,SAM and the Cliff Avril role in passing situations if need be. As of right now Worilds is riding a seven sack and 20 QB hits in the final eight games of the 2013 season so a year in Seattle under the media microscope that will be 2014 could do alot for a young players career. A strait one year deal for Worilds to up his stock without committing big money or long term would be a win win for both sides.

Worilds combine:
3-cone- 6.95
40 yd dash- 4.72
V-jump-38.0
20-shuttle-4.29

Why would he sign a 1 year deal here where playing time may be hard to come by? I agree with your sentiment for several positions..... but an outside pass rusher is not one of them.

Bennett already had a connection with Quinn, and was coming off a torn rotator cuff.....

Worilds ended the season on fire.... By comparison Bennett had 3 sacks his final 8 games in Tampa. Worilds will get paid this year.

There is no way this guy signs a one year deal anywhere I don't think. Panther's Greg Hardy is tagged and off the market, Redskins' Brian Orakpo may follow, if he does that would leave Worilds as the top pass rusher on the market, and he ended the season on a tear, someone will give him bucketloads of money.

Jason Worilds got T-tagged, which is about 90% as expensive as a franchise tag. He won't be a bargain, and the Steelers can match any offer, barring a poison pill.
