Per Jason La Canfora

When the Dolphins announce their deal with T Branden Albert tomorrow, he will end up getting $10M/season. Quite a haul

Branden Albert continues to be the Dolphins’ top free agent priority, and there are growing indications that he will sign with the team on the first day allowed.

Pro Football Talk reported Sunday that “all signs currently point to Albert signing with the Dolphins not long after the market officially opens on Tuesday.” The Miami Herald has heard the same from league sources.

He's done that before and did so last season without positive results in several cases.

Typical "jerrah" type moves, keep spending big in FA and making big splash moves, all of which win no one a championship. Gets the team members excited though, if only to have their hopes dashed by the low profile Seahawks. Well except for the Percy Harvin move. =-/

Per a league source, all signs currently point to Albert signing with the Dolphins not long after the market officially opens on Tuesday.

Albert instantly would be installed as the left tackle in Miami, succeeding Bryant McKinnie. Who replaced Jonathan Martin. Who replaced Jake Long.

The Cardinals are looking for a tackle in free agency and expressed early interest in Branden Albert, but they are turning their attention elsewhere with word that Albert will be headed to Miami.

Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reports that the team has set its sights on Jared Veldheer. The Raiders opted not to use the franchise or transition tag on Veldheer last week, leaving the 26-year-old on track to sign with any team he chooses come Tuesday.
