Idzik getting bad press in NY

Yeah, I know not a shock, but I find it hilarious that the media is giving him so much heat for not signing average talent to large contracts etc, (DRC for example).

The old Jets way hasn't worked in forever so they should stick to the plan and let the GM work.

You know how Jerrah is slave to his ego?

So is the NY media. NY reporters brag about who they got canned. they love the fact that they matter. The Jets owner feeds them. He fed them with Tebow, he feeds them with his Giants inferiority complex, Rex feeds them with weirdness, and Idzik will never be one of "their" guys. He doesn't feed them.

Hmmm. That article said the Jets have interest in Sidney Rice. If they sign him, the press will pile on about signing a guy with a recent injury history -- and if the Seahawks sign him back, the press will pile on about the Jets losing yet another free agent. Idzik can't win.
