Bowman only 47 on the stupid list?

I think that the NFLN top 100 list is pretty dumb to begin with and don't give it any credit, but how in the hell is a player as fricking good as Bowman only at number 47?

Even as a Seahawks fan, that is insulting to me. Bowman is one of the top 10-15 players in the league to me right now. Are these players even paying attention? . Dude is an incredible player despite his affinity for the red & puke uni.

In all seriousness the list is supposed to be projecting for 2014 and since he is due to miss games I can understand it. Kam Chancellor at 65 seems to be a bigger slap in the face.

I hear ya, it does after all say "2014", but I have heard the hosts refer to their 2013 performance. Bowman is indeed hurt badly in fact.

I thought it was pretty low too. Surprising.

Possibly because Willis kinda cancels out some of his votes?

Who knows. Not that big a deal anyway.

The 49ers have the most players on the list this year and have had the most players in the 4 year history of the list....

....but it hasn't gotten them a ring. IE, who cares.

I think it is a combination of the Niners having Willis, Gore and others drawing attention to the team again. Then the younger guys come in and do great things on the field (Aldon, Bowman, etc..) and people will notice. Add into the fact the Niners have been in the playoffs recent years along with 3 NFCCG Showings and a SB appearance and I could see why they have so many. If the Hawks make the NFCCG again this year and/or a SB (win or not) I think we will see many more Hawks on the list (Harvin, Bennett, Avril, Wags, Maxwell all have top 100 potential)

But in the end it is a list made by players who will take personal connections into the voting. So it is just a for fan thing the NFL does to incite NFL discussion and to sell the brand more.

I am with you it helps no team win the Championship, but it sure is fun to just hear what others think of the talent you have and to see the production value that goes into it.

Lists like this (NFL top 100) are stupid. Too many rely on fantasy football stats, and legacy team status.

The way the whole thing is constructed is horribly flawed.

47 with a broken leg. Sounds about right
