Not really, was it the Titans when they were the Oilers had been talking with S.A. at that time also, the L.A. market is where they would like to go I am sure but getting talks going in S.A. is like using Seattle for the NBA.

Tommy Boy is just trying to scare Oakland into getting their act together.

Yea it was.
Just seams crazy that the raiders would be a Texas team.
Hadn't had a chance to ask my dad what he thinks. He's a die hard member of Raider nation but we live in Texas.
I almost think he won't like the idea.

Wonder what Jerry Jones thinks about that?

Personally I couldn't care any less what that guy thinks.
IMHO he is the Main reason the cowboys have been irrelevant the past few years.
He shouldn't care any way. Both the CBs and the raiders have long standing fan bases. I can't see many folks fleeing the CBs for the Raiders just because of a move to Texas. In fact it may piss off a few raider fans enough for them to jump onto the CB's ship.

San antonio has always had a huge base of Cowboy fans. They even had training camp there at times.

JJ didn't particularly like it when New Orleans was there temporarily.

The NFL ain't having that, Dallas and Houston specifically.

They have wanted an NFL team in SA for years and years. I remember that when Red McCombs bought the Vikings in the mid-90s (he was a big car seller down in San Antonio), people would thank him for acquiring an NFL team for them. He never tried to move the Vikes, though, IIRC.

If, in the unlikely event this move happens, I would like to see a small divisional realignment come out of it. You could swap St Louis for San Diego, and have better geographically aligned divisions.

New AFC West:
Denver
Kansas City
St Louis
San Antonio

New NFC West
Seattle
San Francisco
San Diego
Arizona

You would even get an added bonus of giving KC and STL a real rivalry game, which would be awesome.

Then, in a few years, when the Rams ultimately move back to LA, you could swap them for the Cards.

I doubt they'd ask two teams to swap conferences.

Probably not, but they should.

Put us back in the AFC West dammit, we have revenge to get.

Eh, I think we got enough revenge for now.

Me too.
But could you imagine if it happened next year, we could see a Hawk vs 9er
Super Bowl.
That would make my heart stop.
I barely made it thru the NCFCG. :{)

If that happened in the near future Seattle might have a couple of undeafed seasons in a row. The AFC is a weak assed conference!

Didn't stop the NBA from moving our team into Dallas' backyard.

The problem with this move is that the league wants teams in two different markets: LA & London. So the league will push the Raiders to LA before they'd move to San Antonio.

Funny enough, the Rams owner has now business interests in both London and LA (with his land purchases going on now in SoCal and he does own Arsenal). So I suppose Rams to either city is also still a possibility. But Jaguars seem more likely to move to London if team does.

The reason were in the NFC is showing respect for the Original AFL and the teams in it being the now AFC West, there will not be a re alignment or a move to Texas.
