Interesting cuts for Hawks to pickup

Brandon Coleman cut by Saints
Michael Egnew cut by Lions

I would not mind a look at Stephen Hill.

I'm sure some of the guys there would want to cut PRich to pick up Coleman

Cordarro Law, remember him? Didn't make the cut here last year but he had 14 sacks in CFL last year.

Coleman is a project, and the Saints can afford to lose him if he doesn't clear waivers for their PS.

He looked good as a nickle rusher for us back in 2012. He had limitations and flaws, but I was actually a little surprised when Seattle released him.

Last year (I think), Hawks fans might remember his impressive outing vs. Hawks in pre-season. He's got the size and seems to have the fire in his gut to play the game. Not sure why S.D. released him, but... couldn't hurt to bring in a guy like this to the PS. They churn the PS a lot as well. Carrying just 2 QB's on the roster... you would think they plan to add a guy to the PS (if not Daniels.)

Vickerson, the same one that said complained about how and how bad we kicked the Broncos ass, the guy we have already cut once?

It's unlikely the Hawks would want to drop a player to add a developmental QB to eventually back up Wilson, but if they did, Connor Shaw is on the waiver wire.

In all seriousness, if Kip likes him and he does IIRC, I'm on board. Last QB he was really high on was BJ Daniels and before that some kid named Wilson (too short though). Maybe if Daniels gets picked up by Frisco as usual , we sign Shaw?

Connor Shaw getting cut is a bit of a surprise for me, fair enough he only got action in one preseason game - against Washington of all teams, but 8-9 for 123 yards and a TD certainly piqued my interest.
