Tyron Smith named NFL Offensive Player of the Week

IMO, the recognition should also go to Callahan. Even though he's most certainly a boob, he's done an amazing job this year. Smith is a damn fine player, but I contend he's playing above himself because of coaching. You can say that about all of Dallas's 1st round lineman.

And you cant say that about ours. Callahan is an excellent O line coach.

Certainly. I mean things are equal; Callahan has three 1st rounders and Cable has 3 1st rounders.

If we had one more first would it be that much different? He has two 1sts 2 2nds. Had a third that didnt materialize. We have invested in the line, most fans complained and its still a weakness. Pass protection is abysmal.

Maybe we can get Tommy Callahan for our coach?
