It's that time of year again. This time the major star on the move is Cristiano Ronaldo, who's going from Real Madrid to Juventus because he felt underappreciated in Spain. Also, Man City spend £60 million on a situational role player, because they can.

Mahrez will replace Silva soon enough.. so a good buy for them.

Shaqiri, Keita and Fabihno for Liverpool. Jorgihno to Chelsea. Arsenal have made some nice, under the radar moves. Juve (with Ronaldo) picked up Can and are in for Godin. Roma has done quite well adding attacking players to their mix. And, oddly enough, West Ham are busy.

I think players like Hazard, Neymar, etc. will be on the move with Real sending Ronaldo out. PSG will also have a great deal of players that need moving on.

So Conte is out at Chelsea, think that makes it more or less likely that Hazard stays?

Also, for those of us that like to follow the young Americans, Tyler Adams appears set to follow his coach to RB Leipzig.

Lots of good young american players in the bundesliga at the moment.

Hazard will go if madrid or bayern make a big enough offer. I cant see why he'd want to be stuck with a 5th place team. would not surprise me if Chelsea lost Willian, Hazard, Fabregas and Courtois this Summer, or some combination of those 4

Looks like the Chelsea vision has failed. They could have restocked about 4 years ago like they did when Roman first took over but they blew it. When this run started they had Drogba, Chech, Lampard, and Terry all under 25 and kept that core together through most of their successful run. They could have reloaded with Salah, Lukaku, De Bruyne, and the like but they let them walk and brought in older players who were not going to stick around for 10 years.

Maurizio Sarri is the 13th manager Chelsea have had since the start of the 07-08 season, 14th if you count Mourhino's tenures separately. They don't have a "vision" other than constant change.

Im no Chelsea fan... but their vision is clear.

Throw money at it.

How many major championships have they won in that span since 07-08? 6? 7?

Compare that with the rest of the Prem. They might just be the most successful, dysfunctional organization in all of sports. Their fans are begging for consistency because they're so used to the money bailing them out they can't stand even a season without the assumed success.

IMO "throw money at it" by itself isn't a vision, as vision indicates long-term planning. And that's Chelsea's problem, they're so caught up in trying to satisfy their fans' insistence on Win Everything Now that they lack the insight to see 3, 4, 5 years down the road.

West Ham sign 25 year old Brazilian midfielder Felipe Anderson from Lazio. Their spending spree continues. Hopefully it translates to success on the field.

But they win.. which is good enough for a fan base with a short memory

Also, while Courtois and Hazard take off, Jorghino is coming to Chelsea. Very good player

Liverpool look like they might be legit contenders for the PL this year.

They need a 10 or a 9, and probably a backup CB.

But this has been a remarkable window for them
