I still like the Seattle Aviators myself. I also like the color scheme that guy came up with for them.

Some other names I've liked are the Seattle Admirals or the Seattle Destroyers, both of which pay respect to our naval history and prominent role in building ships for the world wars.

Seattle Sled Dogs sounds great! I mean, it's already Husky country there, sled dogs have to work as a cohesive team, the logo would be killer, and the crowd shouting "Mush!" to get the players skating faster would be awesome.

It's decided. Ladies and gentlemen, I present you the Seattle Sled Dogs. Mush, bitches!

I'm good with a lot of the names, but Aviators really struck me as a cool one. Good call. So many cool references and imagery and not a lot of bad ones. Bomber jackets, retro aviator goggles, you'd see a lot of that stuff in the stands, which would be pretty cool.

P art retro style retro army retro vector aviation

O style the army and air force a woman in the army

Yeah, I thought Aviators popped a bit and lacks the negative connotations that come with some of the other names. I also liked this guys designs, although I think the colors need some tweaking. Really would love to see that gold worked into something no matter the team name

These other imaginations are kind of cool too. There's plenty to work with and draw from with Aviators I think. Plus the obvious tie to Seattle's history...

I read yesterday that they are bringing in a Native American artist as a consultant on the logo.
DOESN'T mean it's a Sockeye.
