  • Wow I thought KS died a while back lmao..He was pretty good at one time..I remember I saw his 1st loss and it was to a big strong wrestler type (not the WWF kind) and that was the last I heard of him..I hope the old guy wins this one.I always root for the underdogs .

Kimbo was never good at MMA, ever.

    Edit:
Whoops. My bad. You meant Ken Shamrock. Sorry, same initials as Kimbo Slice.

  • So....
Kimbo escapes a rear naked choke, stands up and with a huge right hand, knocks Shamrock out. 1st round. 2:22

Fairly obvious neither of these guys should be in the cage but it was fun to watch.

  • Yeah I watched it. I'm not even into any of this UFC/Bellator/MMA stuff but I used to watch all of Kimbo's street fights on youtube. I laughed when they put the ages up on the screen. It was pretty obvious this was a worst version of Mayweather vs Pacquaio.

On a side note, and this is kind of unrelated, ut if you have netflix and want to see a decent documentary, watch Dawg Fight. It's about backyard fights in Miami where Kimbo grew up. It focuses on Kimbo's friend Dada 500 who hosts the fights, Dada has also fought a few MMA fights. Some of the footage is a bit disturbing, but it's very real.

  • Watching that video, I can see why he'd think it was fixed. 99.9% of fighters finish that fight w/ a rear naked choke against a guy with zero ground skills. Kimbo didn't even get his chin down. Should have been over 5 seconds after he locked it in.

  • I'm not saying that something might not have been fishy but I've seen plenty of guys get out of chokes that made me say WTF, how did that happen.
I also know that there was nothing fake about that gash in Shamrocks face. He got "smooth" knocked out.
Hard for me to imagine him agreeing to that, when a "fake" submission from Kimbo would have netted the same outcome.

Kimbo Slice hits hard. Agreeing to a couple of punches like that would be putting your health "truly" at risk.
    IDK.
