Seattle area high school football player dies

Really sad. Just a kid having fun playing football.

Honestly, I'm surprised we havnt had an nfl player die from an on field play yet.

I don't want to derail from this kid's tragic death, but when we do see an NFL player die on the field I feel it will change everything...

Yep. Especially if its from a head injury.

Yep. Especially if its from a head injury.

Yeah.. i should have clarified that... If a player dies on the field or shortly after due to an impact injury (head, neck or back) i can see massive changes in the game.

So very, very sad.

Hopefully they can learn something from this and use it to help improve safety for all players from kids up to the NFL.

Horribly sad and tragic. My thoughts go out to his family, friends, teammates, school, and community.
