The Blazers' chances of making the Western Conference Finals certainly improved from a few days ago.

Holy hell. Shooting or non-shooting hand?

Right hand - shooting/dominant hand. I don't know how he could be expected to handle the ball with a cast on.

  • Recovery from this particular fracture typically takes a month-and-a-half, so the Clippers’ absolute best-case scenario if this report is correct is that Paul will be available late in the NBA Finals, should they make it there with Austin Rivers. Making matters worse, Blake Griffin has been a bit hobbled since he left the game briefly with an apparent minor reaggravation of his quad injury.

  • I haven't been to a Blazers game in about 7 years, kinda lost interest in the sport when it started getting out of hand years ago. This may not be the Drexler, Porter, Kersey and Duckworth era, maybe not the Pippen and Wallace years either, but after watching this young team of misfits gel together and make this push into the playoffs, it has me sparked again so i snagged up a pair of tickets to game 6....

I have a gut feeling that they are gonna get their win down in LA on Wednesday, and come back up here and close out the series at home in the MODA

Maybe i'll get to see some magic like a couple years ago when Lillard had the walk off 3 against the Rockets....

  • It is amazing how one play can change an entire series. This series basically became a pick'em now with Paul hurt. The only thing the Blazers don't have in their favor is that they will have to win at least once on the road. While Paul is their best player, they have plenty of other guys who can step up. I'd expect to see a lot of Jamal Crawford the rest of the series.

I hate to say it, but I still think the Clippers take the series, assuming Griffin can play. I think it goes to a game 7.

  • its an easy choice for Griffin, CP3 is done for the rest of the season, why bother risking further injury when you know you are not going anywhere even if they beat Portland?

I am a life long Portland fan so I know this series is not over, but things are looking good and I am so glad they decided not to tank this season, there is some building going on here and I think it is going to pay dividends once this team gets another year under their belt. When is the last time you saw a center put up 14 and 10? Rebounds and assists that is :D

The way they let Golden State dominate the glass was unacceptable. If they're going to even sniff competitiveness in this series, they need to at least win the rebounding battle.

Maybe if the refs didnt gobble down greens johnson the game would of been out of hand allready. I am floored they actually called moving screens

The NBA refs are such a #%##% joke man. I always remember why I quit watching the NBA back when the refs screwed portland over against the Lakers with Shaq and Kobe

Not that the Blazers didnt completely fail in the 4th but my god...the calls in this game...

If GS rushes him back that could be a FATAL mistake to a championship...They are up 2-0 they dont need to rush him back. Assuming they move on...They are going to need 100% ready to go curry

Yeah they are now on gifted time with him. He can sit atleast Game 3 and probably Game 4 without it impacting how this series will play out.

  • We did play the Clippers tougher at home with their stars in there. We were better against Golden State. NBA teams shoot better at home. So there's that. A tiny ray of hope.

I was so frustrated that Lilliard and McCullom were completely unable to get their shots off when it counted.

  • GS made the correct adjustment in the 4th quarter. They did what the Clippers did all series. They trapped Lillard on all ball screens, basically letting the screener (Plumlee) roll to the lane unguarded.

I've said it many times, but the Blazers are too one-dimensional. Everything comes from their pick and rolls with Lillard and McCollum. I can almost guarantee you that we will see GS trap the pick and roll the rest of the series and make someone other than Lillard and McCollum beat them.

I think Portland steals either game 3 or 4, but that's probably it. GS is just way better, even without Curry.

Ya. I think most people realize that Portland has massively overachieved this year too. Nobody thought they would win that many games, or actually win a playoff series.

Kind of a trick question though. Curry being out has something to do with that.

I don't think the Warriors can win in Portland without Curry, but at the same time I don't think Portland can win in Golden State regardless if Curry plays or not.

  • PORTLAND, Ore. -- Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr on Monday upgraded the status of star point guard Stephen Curry to questionable for Game 4 versus the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night. Kerr had previously described Curry's status as "doubtful" on Sunday.
