Man, what a legend! Was never a Red Wings fan, but always a Gordie Howe fan. The man could play, and longer than anyone probably ever will. One of the great old legends I can actually say I watched play.

Funny story about Gordie Howe....He got high sticked in the face one game,but wanted to stay out there.Was forced to the medical room for stitches and told the Dr to hurry up.The Dr said I'm going as fast as I can.After he was done,Howe said don't go anywhere,the guy who did this will be in here shortly!!!.......RIP
