2016 in Seattle sports

Now that the year is over, we can look back and see that it wasn't so bad for Seattle sports fans. Sounders win MLS Cup, Huskies win the Pac 12, Seahawks win the NFC West, even the Mariners managed to not suck and finish above .500. Let's hope 2017 is just as good if not better.

It was a pretty good year for Seattle Sports. I don't follow MLS and the Sounders but I'm happy for them and their fans. UW Football obviously took a huge step forward.

I'm a big Sounders fan, so I'm already happy how 2016 turned out............the Hawks going deep in the playoffs would just be icing on the cake.

As a fan who remembers the moving vans, 2-14 Hawk teams and 10,000 people in the Kingdome to watch the M's on a regular basis, we've got it pretty good right now with our sports teams.
