Two months after the world cup and during the beginning of league play? I don't see these nations putting their best players out for these games.

The Nations League started this international window. Anyone else been following it? If so, what do you think?

Thanks for finding this. I totally forgot about it.

So far France has rolled out a team that looks just like there WC winning side. Looks like all the teams are running out their A side for this competition. That can only be good for the fans.

It's mixed for the fans. Most these players haven't even returned to full fitness for league games and now they are right back at it for international duty.

Like the idea but they should've started at the next break.

Some teams have looked very flat and they are pushing hard to get fitness levels back.

So the first edition of the UEFA Nations League group stages is over. England, Netherlands, Portugal, and Switzerland qualify for the finals while Croatia, Germany, Iceland, and Poland will be relegated to league B in 2020. They'll be replaced in league A by Bosnia & Herzegovina, Denmark, Sweden, and Ukraine.
