Leake back on track with 6 solid innings. Dee and Jean doing what they're supposed to, getting on base and scoring runs.

Hey, even Healy went yard in the 9th! 4 HR total: Segura, Cruz, Seagar, Healy.

Secured at least a tie in the series, too.

Great win! They should light up the guy tomorrow, just hope “good Felix”’shows up.

I think it's Gonzales tomorrow. They've been talking Felix on Tuesday.

Hmm, maybe I saw the matchup graphic wrong on TV, looked like Felix vs Tomlin?

  • Yeah Gonzalez goes tomorrow. M's still haven't lost a road series yet. Hanging in there. I wonder how soon they would consider Elias as their 5th starter if Ramirez continues to suck.

  • Now a series win! :)
10-4 win. Healy with 2 bombs, Cano with 1, and Haniger (tied for the HR lead) with 1.
3 guys with 3 hits or more. Offense is clicking right now!

Which is a good thing to be. :2thumbs:

When you 9 hope hitter has 3 hits and 2 of those are homeruns, it’s a good day!

I would like to see Seager moved down behind Haniger in the line-up until he learns to stop hitting into the shift.

Agreed. Segura for Walker was already a win for the Mariners. Hanger makes the trade so lopsided it is ridiculous.

  • Unfortunately, we don't get to play Cleveland again.

Still need to be able to do this against The 'Stros. At least it's been one of our best Aprils in team history. :irishdrinkers:

They say you can't win the pennant in April, but past M's teams have proven that you can lose it. Now, on to the A's, who've been hot lately. Kind of weird that we seem to play better on the road than at home.

First time the mariners offense homered 4 times in back to back gms since 1999.

    We still need rotation help.

I thought so too but at least right now i think it was because the home series was vs Houston. We lost 3 of 4 to em. If you remove them we went 4-2 at home so far.

Kind of surprised he lasted this long. Love what the guy brought to the team years ago, but we can't afford that void on our roster. He's got no pop in his bat and his patented fall away drag bunt/single doesn't work any more because he can't outrun the throw. I guess he's a league average outfielder, but we have guys who can do that that are years younger champing at the bit to get their chance.

Sorry to say, but the Ichiro thing is kind of played out.

  • I didn't mind the Ichiro signing since Gamel was hurt and I really want him and Felix to play postseason ball for the M's. They deserve it. But it's probably a good move. Heredia deserves more playing time. Gamel is under performing. I was hoping Ichiro would give us at least a .280 batting average....but it didnt happen.

LeBlanc is taking Ramirez' spot in the rotation.
