First out of the gate is this:

Bud Light issues hilarious response to reported Masters 'Dilly Dilly' ban

The 2018 Masters is shaping up to be one for the books.

Ahead of the major, however, fans have been put on notice not to yell out certain catch phrases while watching the golfers at Augusta. One of the catch phrases that’s reportedly been banned is Bud Light’s “Dilly Dilly.”

After news of the ban spread, Bud Light has responded.

Wonder if they allow Ipads on the course. May be better to do that than the notebook they have?

PGA Events are restrictive as hell. I went to the US Open in Philly and they had quite a tight ship going on. No phones or electronic gadgets of any kind.

I've been to Augusta GA and found that the sacred grounds of The Masters is so sacred you can't even see it if you're standing next to it. That is a well hidden golf course.

The coverage of Tiger is beyond ridiculous. I get that they want him to do well. But if he isn't, don't report like he is.

Went to the Boise Open a while back and it was not that bad..but that was before the advent of the idiot phones where the idiot cant learn how to turn off the ringaling and just go to hummer mode. Heard some phones go off during the swings of bigtime players like Chip Beck....Saw John Cook here to getting back into swing after a medical injury. He was pretty cool for an Ohio State alum.

Heard some of the phones go off too and found the idiots to be disgusting. That is not what you want to hear on the golf course. One of my friends had his go off and I looked at him with them eyes that could kick him off the course.

My hearing is awesome...and I can hear for hundreds of yards. Attention span is what is going on around me too...so when people are talking, I am messed up golfing. I even started wearing ear plugs so I could play. Now that is not a problem, I have a messed up shoulder and dont think I will be playing much any more if at all. Just dont know. Rant over.

Any interviews I've seen Patrick Reed in, he seems like a likeable enough guy, but I found this story if anyone's interested.

Why do so many golf fans hate Patrick Reed?

For The Win

Patrick Reed, the leader at the halfway point of the 2018 Masters, is the most controversial man in golf. He's been disliked from the moment he announced his presence nearly five years ago and hasn't done much to change opinions since then.

He's brash and alienating. He can be a troll. He's the kind of guy who begins sentences with "I'm from Texas." Britain's Telegraph named him the most hated player in golf. A 2015 ESPN players poll named him the second most-disliked man on tour (behind Bubba Watson) and that was before many of his shenanigans. He often plays practice rounds by himself and has been known to curse on TV and snap at fans. The fact that wore red on Sundays annoyed fans, either because they thought it was cocky (it was) or derivative (that was the point).

How did it get this way? Why do people hate Patrick Reed?

Golf drama?

Doesn’t seem all that interesting. Tiger was the same way. Once Reed starts winning every idiot who can’t help themselves from screaming “it’s in the hole” during backswings will be his biggest fan

His back 9 yesterday was fun to watch though.

Streaming it yesterday and Dustin Johnson was very snarky to some officials after he put his ball in the deep rough in trees. Petulant little brat could not be polite. I figure the weather and his not playing perfect golf got to him...but he could have been a bit more proper to the guys working on the course.
