She's actually Russian, but.. unlike the other American raised Russians, she says she plays for the US.. we'll see how long for... but, damn, exciting to see an American win.

She's American, has been here her whole life. She was just born in Russia because her parents moved back from the U.S. after emigrating because they needed family to help with her when she was an infant. Shortly after that they moved back. For all intents and purposes she is American.
