Yep, great move. Looks like the Yankees and Red Sox "wet dreams" of King Felix pitching in his prime in their uniform just dried up!  Howard and Chuck still need to 86'ed however!

Team was willing to really open up the wallet to pay big bucks for one of the best young starting pitchers in the league. It shows a financial commitment from the M's to Felix, and hopefully they will up the payroll to support his deal. All we can do is hope, but I think this is the right move.

He's the kind of guy that puts everything he has into his games for the fans, and not getting wins bums him out. Money isn't everything. I feel bad for the guy, he's stuck in baseball hell.
