Has anybody here participated? Would love to have the money to just do it. I play a lot less these days but have always enjoyed the game.

Haven't played in person but witnessed some Norwegian guy win a bracelet in one of the preliminary events. Its pretty cool. When the main event isn't played they'll have a couple of other tournament/events going on at once in a huge room at the rio. All you hear is the "riffing" of chips.
