Crap. I should have read it first. So basically the Coyotes will be moving in, in 2018? Better than nothing.

What happens to the T-Birds? Nothing?

I always thought moving the WHL team down south to Kent was making room for a potential NHL franchise. Anyhow, I love my WHL hockey but would welcome the big league.

No that was because Key Arena is a dump and the city of Seattle is too cheap to fix it up.

When an NBA team is acquired for now, but the deal will be amended to get it built for the NHL if the NHL does decide to come first. So... Yeah we don't know. EIS report comes out in March, all signs pointing to the plan passing.
