Interesting look at what sports teams and leagues around the world are spending on their players.

It's interesting to see the pay discrepancy in some of the leagues. For instance, in Spain's La Liga, the two top paying teams, Real Madrid and Barcelona, rank #s 4 & 5 overall respectively. The next La Liga club, Atletico Madrid, isn't found until #91 on the list. The top three clubs pay almost as much per player ($17,667,559) as the rest of the league combined ($18,967,131).

Really interesting (who would have known Cricket in India was such a cah expenditure?)

Puts the NFL into perspective. The first football team appears at #115. you really have to admire the competitive balance that the NFL has created with their salary cap.
