The only Captain Morgan rum I ever knew was a white rum sold in flagons in the 1980s here. The flagons were about 2 litres capacity (half a US gallon). It was far less expensive than Bacardi rum. My wife used to drink it with Coke - I cured her from the expensive Bacardi. Mind you, spirits are HIDEOUSLY expensive in Oz. Even basic gin (yum yum) is nearly equivalent of US$20+ for a 750ml bottle. Tobacco (let alone tailors) is also hideously expensive, in our nanny-state, high-taxing government.
