    Show-stealing diva,
    throw yourself at anyone,
    decked out in diamonds.

    Barium
    Let those enduring
    your enemas remember
    fireworks' green splendor.

    Silicon
    Locked in rock and sand,

  • In chemistry class at Pierce College (Tacoma) in 2007, one of the questions on the final was to write a chemistry haiku. My answer:

    Covalent bonding.
Lovers on a sweet spring night,
    Exchanging charges.

  • I also attended in 1976. So it only took 33 years to get my 2-year degree in 2009!

  • Bro was a kindred spirit to you. Computer geek back before it was cool to geek. I was only 8yo or so at the time he left. He went from Pierce to Reed in Portland, then on to U of AZ. Smart bastard, ended up working for NASA in Huntsville AL for a while. I believe he was involved in early Apollo Program.
