Also, it’s possible but I would like to know the source of the info, and what the agenda is.
Is the agenda the truth, political, or an “attack” of some sort.

After reading that post and replies it makes a lot of sense as to why I can’t find any confirmation of this anywhere. This posting is really just one guy saying it’s so without any actual proof.

  • There was a launch, now do you really think the US Military is going to admit that somehow they were hacked, or that they had a couple mutineers working in such a place, or that someone infiltrated their complex and did this? With the Russian stuff going on all over or someone else getting into this it would be a PR disaster for not only the Military but our Government. Then you have the public panic and outcry. 911 will be brought up and the scare tactics of nobody's safe etc.

That’s the way I’m kind of leaning on this situation. That’s why the military has been so quiet on it.

I don’t disagree but the thing that makes me go Hmmmmm is, why is the media being quiet?

They know about the situation but even there ain’t publicly asking questions.

The problem isn't with the poster posting it, it's that the person who actually posted it on Facebook actually believes this stuff, and he's not the only one. There's a small percentage of people out there who want to believe this type of thing is absolutely fact and they espouse it as such. Most people realize this is just conspiracy theory stuff, but there are those few who believe it is 100% true.

  • Absolutely. That's why I made the comments I did. Some folks literally 1) can't tell stuff like this is fake or 2) want to believe it's true due to some misguided confirmation bias.

Yup. I have a family member who was stationed on a Trident for several years who now is retired and lives back east. I actually sent him the link to this exact thread and at first his two word response was. HOLY S**T!

I asked if this looks legit, he didn't answer and immediately said "why isn't this in the news"?

    Crazy stuff.

On a side note, his last words before getting off the phone was "Go Steelers" :rumble:

  • It was definitely a missile. Given that the inventories of our missile ships are easily audited and they carry large crews that receive lots of shore leave, I am not inclined to think it was a missile boat. This thing came from a sub, and based on the profile it looks like a Trident II, which is an utterly disturbing proposition.

Because it's not government approved messaging. The mainstream media has been thoroughly co-opted by Western spook agencies since the 1950s. One such program was revealed to Congress in the 70s, under the label Operation Mockingbird. It was allegedly terminated. Clearly, the spooks couldn't keep their hands out of the cookie jar, because this happened just a few years ago, and I'm certain there are dozens if not hundreds like him sprinkled throughout the MSM.
