  • One thing I can genuinely say I didn't like in any of the sequel trilogy was Maz Kanata. Just a blantant exposition machine and felt so forced and out of absolutely nowhere. I would have been happy had she not been in any of them. I gave them the benefit of the doubt with TFA, and TLJ wisely sidelined her, however, they delivered nothing on her in RoS. Plus her vague ties to the Force just confused more than anything. I really hope we don't see her again.

  • Yeah, she was a mostly worthless character. I actually liked her in this last one more than the others. But really just a waste of screen time and Lupita's talents.

Yeah, my issue was never the performance. I just didn't like how she was used.

Also, the butthole eyes didn't help.

I didn't write it, so hate on IGN; not me. :)

Why would we hate them or you? It doesn't change my opinion of the movie, which is, that I liked and enjoyed it, but believe it's flawed. You are still not understanding that there is no argument. We have never said it was a great movie. Get it through your head.

Then why do you keep posting like you're trying to prove something? You're pathological.

  • I was just thinking about how this is the least I've loved a Star Wars movie in a really long time, and that made me sad. But then I thought about all the time Roland had spent worrying about how I feel about the movie and I just laughed and laughed.

  • You thinking I'm worried about what you two think of it makes me laugh as well, Zeb.

    Cheers!

  • You two thinking of each other, laughing while thinking of the other, makes me blush.

It's very sweet. You two are sweet, sweet boys.

  • Bought this when it came out on digital a couple weeks ago and watched it that night, first time since the end of December. Hoped that it would have grown on me the way TLJ did but sad to say that just wasn't the case. This is the first new Star Wars movie under Disney that I can honestly say I just don't really like that much. I don't hate it, necessarily. I'm not going to actively campaign against it like the butt chuggers did with TLJ, but I just don't have any desire right now to watch it again.

So anyway, here's to hoping society doesn't crumble and Lucasfilm gets their $h!t together.

  • I have not purchased it yet to go with my collection. I still need to see it again to get the things that I missed. I have to go to the store on Tuesday for some stuff and hope it is in that area. I hate it when I get the wrong pizza and have to throw some out. Cawleeflower in pizza crust is just wrong.

  • After many days of trying to be sane and intelligent...I finally asked a place if they had the movie. They went right to it and I purchased it today. I am disappointed that I forgot they have different locations for specific movies. I must be not feeling well. Eh....I will live with it. I found some other things today and my memory has been growing again by leaps and bounds. Just in certain areas, not in all. I suppose that is what happens when you get a bit older and humanity is not intruding as much. I shall watch this when I have time....which is a rare thing now a days...after all I am retired. LOL

Hope you all Live Long and Prosper like Luke Skywalker.
