  • I'm excited about this. I don't want to be, given Shyamalan's track record. But I am.

  • I'll definitely give it a watch, but I just can't get myself excited for his movies any longer. Too many disappointments. Perhaps not being excited for it will allow me to come in with lower expectations and enjoy it more.

  • Unbreakable was a really good movie. Split was a really good movie. I'm cautiously excited for the third part of this trilogy.

  • 6th Sense was damn good too. The Visitor was fun, didn't take itself too serious. Split was outstanding.
Signs was solid other than the strange ending, but oh well. To each his/her own. I've liked a lot of his stuff.
The Village and Lady by the water (or whatever that was called) was pretty weak. The Happening, meh.
Unbreakable was cool. I actually am one of the few that liked Devil.

I really enjoyed Split. He was fantastic in that. I am excited for this.

  • I really enjoyed Unbreakable but haven’t been able to watch Split yet. I was married to someone like that and don’t wish to relive it.

  • I'll wait to watch this one at home. Really liked Unbreakable, but I didn't like Split at all. I usually don't mind McAvoy, but he was terrible in it and looks about as bad in the Glass trailer.

As for Shyamalan, he started off great and went downhill fast - his nadir was The Happening. But Devil was decent, and I thought The Visit was great.

I see you The Happening, and raise you The Last Airbender.

  • We watched both Lady in The Water and The Last Airbender with our kids. Both enjoyable movies. Somewhere in the house there's an "Aang" action figure.

And Lady in The Water was a better film than the recent Oscar "The Shape of Water"
