  • So I’m thinking about doing a cruise to Alaska. I would prefer to go somewhere else but that is really the only option when leaving Seattle. So what cruise lines would you recommend. Any advice? No kids so don’t need recommendations for kid friendly cruises. What do you find yourself doing on the ship. What do they have other than food to entertain you?

I really can’t help you much because I’ve never taken the trip.

Always have wanted too, and still have hope to do so.

I have talked to many people that have taken that cruise, and the only common complaint has been, many wish they had taken more time and done some of the day trips that are available.

Evidently if you plan the trip well enough, and have the funds, you can get off the boat for a day or two, then catch the next boat.

Not sure how that all works though.

Hope you have a great time, I’m jealous.

  • I worked every weekend during this cruise season down on the docks and got to take board the ones that make the trips to Alaska. Hands down the nicest ship was the Norwegian Bliss.

Go cart track, water slide that goes off the side of the ship, and it's brand new.
