  • I'm not the world's biggest horror fan, but I do love a good creature film, so in the spirit of Halloween, what are some of your favorite horror movies?

My first is a little controversial, as many don't consider it horror, but I still love Jaws, and it is defined by many as a horror film. As for more traditional horror, I enjoy John Carpenter's The Thing, David Cronenberg's The Fly, and The Mist.

    What do you got?

  • Jaws is a horror movie, for sure.

As for me, Alien is probably my favorite. Event Horizon is not nearly as good, but I like it. Add A Quiet Place and that's probably my top three.

Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness are great too, but I don't really count them.

  • I watch Trick r Treat everyone Halloween. It has some good intertwined short stories.
The first Halloween and the two Rob Zombie remakes.
Return of the living dead is my favorite zombie movie.
Am a found footage fan. Love As Above So Below, Jeruzalem, Afflicted. The Tunnel. Creep. Grave Encounters. VHS
Nightbreed is a unique monster movie.
Steven King has some great horror movies and mini-series. The Stand. Red Rose. The mist. IT. Dead Zone.

There are too many horror franchises to list them all. The Omen. Nightmare on Elm Street. Halloween. Friday the 13th. The Howling. Sleepaway Camp. Scream. Underworld. Resident Evil. On and on. There is a lot of crap in there too though.

  • Insidious and the conjuring was good in recent years. Children of the corn used to scare me as a kid as well as pet semetary. I see there is a remake happening.
