Thank you, Chawker, and best wishes to you. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Oz, but I'd love to be in America for the day, some day. I'm very much hoping to be in the Seattle area for Thanksgiving in 2-3 years, and if so, would love to meet folks here. I am hoping to stay for 3-4 weeks, and obviously see at least two home games! I've never cooked a turkey in my life, however.

Anyway, have a wonderful day, everyone! All three Thanksgiving games are on TV here, and the Seahawks game is on, too! :)

Eat, Drink and watch football, remember your family and enjoy them while they are around, soon people pass on, the kids have wifes and go to the other families get togethers and it will never be the same.

Thanks Chawker for the kind words as well, we are a big ass family, we have trouble getting along at times but push come to shove I know all you have my and everyone elses back.

    Happy Thanks Giving Everyone. !!!!

  • Happy Thanksgiving, Dot Net family! I'm in San Diego on temporary duty with the Navy (and therefore away from my family), but organized a 'guerilla Thanksgiving' with some of my co-workers who are in the same boat (no pun intended, but I'm keeping it anyway  ). I'll be throwing the 8.5 pound salt-crusted prime rib on in about 4 hours.

  • Happy turkey day, one and all! (Except Rockhawk. Screw that guy.)

I made out like a bandit for the Black Friday deals:

Shark Ion Robot Vacuum R85 ($400 normally, on sale for $200)
Lenovo Smart Display 8" ($200 normally, on sale for $80; purchased two)
Google Home ($129 normally, on sale for $79)
Google Home Mini ($49 normally, on sale for $25)

    MSRP total: $978
    Paid total (before tax): $464

Next thing to purchase will be either a Nest thermostat or a Philips Hue light bulb starter pack; I'm going full-on smart home.

Not the direction you meant it in, jerk, but I have no qualms about making my home smarter than me. :)

Also, sigh, I ended up buying a Philips Hue starter kit...someone stop me before I can't pay the rent.
