Anyone else had the stomach/gastrointestinal flu that lingered for more than a few days? I'm going on a week tomorrow. It comes and goes and feels like it will never end.
Just curious if this is a typical strain this season or if I need to make a doctor appointment.

I got something in late-November, early-December, that lasted a good two weeks. I didn't take anything for it, just let my body handle it. Not sure if it was the flu or not. I still have a slight cough from it, but nowhere near as bad as it was.

I wish this was more cough/cold, but it's more gastrointestinal/stomach (nasuea/queezy...Just when I thought the worst was over it feels like it's coming back).

You sure that's not just nervousness about the post season and our chances of making the Super Bowl?

Talked to a doctor...Thinks it's gastroenteritis. Symptoms can last up to two weeks. He said to come in if I have fever, chills, dizzy and the vomiting and runs are continuing. Otherwise let it run its course or make an appointment if it's not much better in a week. I'm starting to feel better. Just slower than I expected.
