It's a sad day for me to hear that Matt Hasselbeck is not returning to the Seahawks: I'll wear my Hasselbeck jersey tomorrow in honor of you Matt.
Thanks Matt, for all you did for Seahawks football, for taking us t our first Super Bowl, for all the Division Championships, for the singular best game I ever enjoyed in person (NFC Championship game), for 'We'll take the ball and we're gonna score', just for being a great example of a professional football player.
Finally, please go to a team that is not in the NFC West, thanks.

Like I said in another post... I hope the Seahawks face Hasselbeck in the Super Bowl this year. I think that would qualify as a win-win situation for the Seahawks and Hasselbeck. It would also indicate that Hasselbeck isn't playing in the NFC, which means he wouldn't be playing for a division rival. In other words... Just sign with Tennessee Matt.

Finally got my Matt jersey (though I probably should have waited for them to go down in price). Tough few years but still was proud of how he represented the organization. Hope he gets to go out a winner but no matter what, he will always be a major part of Seahawks history. Best wishes #8, give them heck!

I used to call you "Mr. Dear-in-the-Headlights" when you took over for my favorite: Trent Dilfer....... but my thoughts steadily changed as it became clear that you were "Our Guy"........ I now own your jersey and will fondly remember you on our "Mt. Rushmore" of Seahawk Q.B.'s (Zorn, Krieg, & Hasselbeck) THANKS FOR THE GREAT MEMORIES, MATT !! I wish you could've retired a Seahawk.......and hopefully this organization does the right thing when your career is finally over and sign you again - to a 1-day contract - so you can retire a Seahwk - like it was always meant to be !!?
