It's probably already been mentioned somewhere in the thread but Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle is unquestionably the greatest rap album ever produced. The stuff that comes out today just doesn't compare to that 1990's west coast gangsta shiz.

Early 1990's west coast rap was the best with east coast late nineties giving it s run for it's money. Anything today doesn't compare. Snoop dogg being the greatest album ever is a stretch.

Early-mid 90's east coast will always be my favorite but there's definitely some west coast sprinkled in there.
The Chronic is so many times better than Doggystyle it's not even a debate.
