It wasn't fortune, or luck. It was fantastic scouting by John Schneider & co. Everybody remember when Pete said he had to talk Schneider down from taking Wilson in the 2nd round because he was sure they could get him in the 3rd?

I am pointing this out to everyone I see that says we got lucky drafting an elite QB in the 3rd round. It wasn't luck, it was pure front office skill, and for that, I most humbly thank you, John Schneider.

Gotta love it. This kid is the real deal.
