It's not going to pass, but I said long before this most recent election someone was going to try and get the 22nd Amendment changed so Obama could run for another term. Sure enough.

Same guy has been proposing it for years. Here's the link to when he proposed it in the first year of Bush's 2nd term:

Same dude - Rep. José Serrano [D-NY15] - proposed it both times. Weird. Betcha in 2005 he wasn't worried about W winning a third term, though.

Ummm... Are you familiar with the process of getting an amendment ratified? Nobody rammed anything through.

Go watch "Lincoln". Almost every piece of legislation ever passed in this country has had to be rammed through somebody.
