know any jobs hiring? Me and djtoy are making the move down there in January and while going through AIT, need to find something temporary, or possibly even permanent. Anyone have any insider info?

It's still there, and we're still involved. Just decided that I need a new environment for a few years.

So lucky, PHX is dope. If y'all ever go on a quick road trip of AZ though, I'd suggest up around Flagstaff, so damn beautiful.

Definitely. I just need out of this area... It's eating away at me. Some nice weather for a change would do me some good.

nothing to do with a woman. everything to do with gaining some new experiences in new environments.

Phoenix sounds nice. San Diego too. If I were to skip town it'd probably be to one of those places. Or Italy.

Welp, I'm here in Phoenix... all I gotta say is.... In 'N Out, Tilted Kilt, a place to watch the Hawks, and sunshine is all a man needs!

I was stationed there in the military from 89-93 The best thing about Phoenix was Zia records and getting out of town to Sedona or Flagstaff! living on the far west side of town I enjoyed the outdoors stuff alot, hiking and rappelling at white tanks, endless mountain biking, shooting guns and riding dirt bikes, quads and sandrails, paintballing and pick up games of volleyball almost every night ! The monsoon storms throughout august and sept at 4pm (almost like clockwork) were amazing, 2 inches of rain in a couple of hours then by 9pm it was all dry again, the summer heat lightning was fantastic to watch also. In the 5 years I lived there I did not enjoy the city of Phoenix or the bugs. I truly miss Zia records, I have never found a music shop since that was so so good !

They got rattlers down there though, right? That might be enough to keep me away.

I was in PHX a couple years ago for my job. I liked it a lot, and I have some family there too. I wouldn't mind living there at all. Are you sure as a west sider you'll be able to handle the heat?

As stupid as it sounds it is a dry heat Oh my gosh. Every time I would go to California to visit for holidays and back to the Spoke I would get sick. It was o n a timer. 24 hours and bed ridden.

Are you sure as a west sider you'll be able to handle the heat? not to rag on ya john, but i think im gonna buy some stock in high spf sunscreen. john is a red head. burns very easy. i remember one summer, he had a jeep wrangler, we took it out to the river for some fun in the sun, and he eft the top on (on a 90 degree day) because he didnt want to get burned on the drive. haha. many many other times he wouldnt want to do anything in the summer til later in the day for fear of a sunburn. love ya man, stay cool, and lathered up!
