Who ever it is they don’t have much if any medical knowledge.

We don’t put people to sleep to put breathing tubes down their throat.
This is clearly layman speak.
Exactly...espn didn't mention this update so kinda suspect right now..

I know nothing about Commotio Cordis, but according to med urls, prognosis is about 50/50 depending heavily on immediacy of care following the incident. If that's what happened, hopefully the medical pros on site made the difference. I think incidents in MLB and NHL have turned out as positive as possible because of med care applied immediately. ...again, if CC is accurate.

Would imply whatever the NFL plans to do with this game, it doesn't involve resuming play tomorrow.

For the best, I think. The medical situation for Hamlin is still going to be a front and center in these immediate few days. My thoughts go out to Higgins as well.

Also, think this is a good spot for anyone to be reminded that CPR training can make a difference and if you're at all interested you can get certified. https://cpr.heart.org/

They don't intubate in the aid car? If his vitals are back to normal that would be fantastic news right?

Absolutely a good point to make.

In cardiac arrest the survival rate goes up exponentially with immediate good quality CPR and early defibrillation.

Hands only CPR for lay people is what’s taught these days, risk of any type of infection is almost nil.
Please take a CPR course or update yourself if it’s been awhile.
CPR absolutely saves lives, and it might be someone you love that gets saved.

Think they should just call this game a draw.. no one wants to play this.. tomorrow, or next week.

Well Bayliss aside, the nfl is a business of practicality. Practically, this Was a game that would have moved The Bills into first place in afc, for example, while the Bengals would need week 18 win to win their division. Or Cincy Clinches the division at 2 seed with Buf falling to 3.

To me, it would make the most sense for the Bills to stay the night and for the game to resume Tomorrow.

Yeah. Even if they don’t reschedule for tomorrow, I don’t think players are wanting to leave

Yes we intubate.
I’m commenting on the choice of words, obviously not the verbiage that would be used by a healthcare professional.

We sedate people to intubate them. An endotracheal tube is placed in the trachea.

As far as the VS being normal, it’s very possible that it’s a great sign.
Unfortunately it’s also possible that it’s all medication.
