    Pete is also expecting the Steelers to struggle putting together long drives. He wasn’t counting on the run D vanishing. Now, as the game goes on, if the run D trend continues, the calculus changes.

    When Jamal is healthy and guesses right, 100%. This particular season we’ve seen some heinous run fits, angles, and dropoff athletically, but I get you mean “guy who can run and clean up running lanes”.

    I like it better than 3 straight passes but it does seem to be a strong tendency of our offense at this point, that we should move off of. In fact it’s such a strong tendency that PA off of it might be effective, regardless of whether we’ve established the run in the game already.
