They are not gonna play against the Jaguars that way

This is the biggest thing that gives us HOPE vice years past. Trevor LOOKS the part compared to who we have had over the past 2 decades (Leftwich, Garrard, Gabbert, Bortles, Minshew). Leftwich could read a defense and had a cannon, but his wind up was horrendous and he was not mobile. Gabbert...

This Week's Enemy Fan Forums: The Jacksonville Jaguars

The biggest difference is....yall still have a pretty vibrant history to reflect on: Steve Largent, Cortez Kennedy, Kenny Easley, etc.... (The Seahawks were my team back in the 80s/early 90s. I don't know why....) Plus those three nice Super Bowl appearances, one win, and 19 playoff...

This Week's Enemy Fan Forums: The Jacksonville Jaguars

Hey Hawks Fans, nice to be here. DuvalPride is the best place to go to get intel on the Jags. I’ve been following the team it’s entire existence and have never heard of the other board. It’s a good place to gather, talk about the team, and commiserate over our many, MANY losses. There are a...

    Pretty clear

You mentioned 'metrics', and by any metric...the ONLY coach I could ever find that had moderate/continued success in the NFL with no 'franchise' QB to speak of was Brian Billick in Baltimore. What he DID have was a generational defense built to win a LOT of 14-7 games. In 9 years, he went 80-64...

    Pretty clear

Small sample size, and the game has evolved over the past 20 years....but Carroll was 33-31 as a head coach between the Jets (1 season) and Patriots (3 seasons) before coming back to the NFL. He had a .563 winning percentage, a division title, and 2 playoff appearances with New England in 3...

    Fuller, Dunlap, Woods, Reed, Jones

Coming from Jax, we were extremely disappointed the team gave up Sidney Jones for a 6th round pick. As it stands now, we've Shaq Griffen (dude SHOULD have 3 picks by now, but dropped all of them) and Tyson Campbell (2nd Rd rookie) starting. Jones would've been a SOLID number 2 for the Jags. How...

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (vs Jaguars)

Jag's defense will have it's hands full with Metcalf/Lockett. If we can get penetration with the front 4, they might make it interesting. Lawrence can hang and I'm thinking Robinson will carry on his hot streak of 80+ yards and a TD. In the end, that West Coast trip always dooms Jacksonville...

They are not gonna play against the Jaguars that way

See....as a Jags fan, we are never optimistic. Its just our nature.

They are not gonna play against the Jaguars that way

That first question is hard to answer: You read a lot of local reports saying the team has quit/has no respect for him....but then on the GW FG against Miami, you had Lawrence standing on the sideline with his arm around Meyer. A LOT of his former players actively WANT to come play for him. Same...

    Pretty clear

At least with BB and Brady you got 6 Super Bowls. You got ONE SB and a stupid interception at the goal line of a winnable game of the second one with Carroll.

They are not gonna play against the Jaguars that way

Greetings all. Jags fan here. I like popping into the opponents message board the week prior to say howdy and answer any questions y'all might have. Tough loss last night. But, it gives me hope that Jacksonville might have a shot for winning in Seattle for the first time....EVER! What gives...

    Myers’ Struggles

But he was 100% last year. Weird. A lot of kickers are struggling this year. https://www.dispatch.com/story/sports/2 ... 089517001/

Kamara 30 times with ball DK + Lockett 4 times with ball...

Lot of it boils down to the QB throwing him the ball. Other than the 84yard TD, he only had 4 targets and 1 reception for 12 yards. Take away the 84 yard TD, and Geno was 11/21 for 83 yards. How?
